HOW IT WORKS

1. Get started today by completing a brief INITIAL INTAKE FORM online.

  • Citizenship from Parents: Please contact us and the intake form will be emailed or mailed to you.
  • Other Immigration Services: Please contact us and the intake form will be emailed or mailed to you.

2. Someone from our office will contact you by email or phone to set up an Initial Consultation with the attorney. The consultation can be done over the phone or via Zoom.

3. The Attorney-Client Contract (“Retainer Agreement”) will be emailed to you and you will be able to review and sign it electronically (E-SIGN).

4. Meetings with your attorney will be held over the phone or via Zoom wherever you are in the world.

5. For full-service representation, you will be emailed access to your very own Online Client Portal. Read more about it below.

6. Exchange and review case documents and send messages to your attorney 24/7 via the Online Client Portal. Securely pay invoices online via credit card or ACH bank payment.

7. Your attorney completes and takes care of your immigration paperwork, and submits it to USCIS/U.S. Department of State for you. If a document needs your “wet” signature, we will send it to you and you can mail it back. It is that easy.

What is the “Secure Client Portal?”

Every client receives their own dedicated Client Portal, regardless of whether you choose in-person or remote meetings. The Client Portal is a secure and private cloud-based environment where you can check for case updates, exchange documents for review, send your attorney messages, or pay invoices. The Client Portal is accessible 24/7 through our website.

Your Information Is Secure: Our office uses “MyCase” which is legal management software designed for the secure exchange of sensitive legal documents online. The security level is similar to online banking, with MyCase cloud servers protected by military grade perimeters. All sensitive information is encrypted, utilizing 128-bit SSL encryption for data transmission and 256-bit AES encryption for data storage. Only you and the Law Office of Jennifer Fabian-Verzosa will be able to access the documents in your online portal. All documents are also regularly backed up by the cloud server, minimizing data loss.

Remote Zoom Meetings and Phone Calls

It does not matter where you are in the world – your attorney is a phone call away. You can speak to your attorney easily and conveniently via Zoom online calls and meetings. You may just need to download the free meeting software, have an internet connection, and a microphone on your device.


Camera shy? That’s ok. You have the option of a Zoom video or non-video call (operates just like a regular phone call).

Except for those clients whose cases require an immigration court appearance, any client, near or far, is eligible for this service.

    If we decide to take your case, once our office receives both the completed intake questionnaire and the E-signed retainer agreement (attorney-client contract), you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your Online Client Portal. From there, you can securely pay any invoices, ask unlimited questions about your case, and check for case updates. The portal will periodically have documents and forms for you to review. You can also upload documents and inform your attorney of any changes that need to be made on those documents. You can download any documents to your computer, saving paper and trees! Although the portal is super easy to use, you also always have the option of sending documents through traditional mail, if you prefer.


    When it is time for a meeting, you can opt for a face-to-face Zoom meeting or non-video Zoom call with your attorney. Alternatively, we can schedule a simple phone meeting. Meeting remotely enables you to consult with and see your attorney, without having to come down to our office!
