On October 24, 2016, The Department of Homeland Security announced that it will definitely adjust the fee schedule for several immigration forms. The last time increases were imposed was November 2010. This time, filing fees will be increased by a weighted average of 21%.

The new fees will be effective for all affected applications or petitions on or after December 23, 2016 .

DON’T DELAY! THE TIME TO APPLY FOR AN IMMIGRATION BENEFIT IS NOW, BEFORE THE FEE INCREASES IN DECEMBER! SINCE IT TAKES TIME TO GATHER ALL THE MATERIALS FOR YOUR APPLICATION, YOU SHOULD GET STARTED NOW. YOU HAVE LESS THAN 2 MONTHS.
